Jim and Dineen Benson of Randolph celebrated their 40th anniversary on Aug. 14, 2010, with an open house at the East Randolph Fire Hall. The celebration was hosted by their sons: Ed and Eric (Sarah) Benson. They also have two grandchildren: Riley and Grace Benson.
Benson and the former Dineen Post were married Aug. 11, 1970, in Salamanca, N.Y. The Rev. Reed performed the ceremony.
Benson is employed at Hope's Windows in Falconer, N.Y. Mrs. Benson is employed at Randolph Central School.
