Russell and Valerie (Barden) Cornell of Jamestown celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a cruise to Honduras and Mexico in May, and a party on July 2, 2010, hosted by their daughters: Cathy Derby (Scott) of Bemus Point, N.Y., and Lori Posma (Mike) of Myrtle Beach, S.C. They also have four grandchildren: Allison and Michael Derby and Cassidy and Josie Posma.
They were married July 2, 1960.
