Glenn and Laura Rudd Sr. of Tallahassee, Fla., celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on March 25, 2010, with the renewal of their vows and a trip to iconic Fort Lauderdale's Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Resort and Spa. The celebration was hosted by their children: Glenn W. Rudd Jr. of Coconut Creek, Fla., Jennifer (Rudd) and Robby Hall of Monticello, Fla., and Lauren Rose Rudd of Tampa, Fla. The bride was escorted by her father, Joseph Ricotta, and the unity candles were lit by her mother, Jane Ricotta. The groom is the son of Bette Rudd of Quincy, Fla., and the late Samuel Rudd. Their children and son-in-law served as attendants. Out-of-state guests attended from New York.
Rudd and the former Laura Ricotta of Falconer, N.Y., were married March 25, 1985, in Trinity Temple Church, Palm Spring, Fla. The Rev. David Miller performed the ceremony.
Rudd owns and operates Glenn Rudd Enterprise. Mrs. Rudd had been employed by The Post-Journal, the former Ribaudos Restaurant, Jamestown Community College and the former Holiday Inn Restaurant in Jamestown. They attend Christian Heritage Church and are very involved in the community, schools and with local churches.
