Robert and Elizabeth Cole of Kennedy, N.Y., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 26, 2009, with their family, and a trip to Las Vegas in May, with the trip sponsored by their children Robert Jr. (Kelly) of Kennedy, N.Y., and Jodi (Jim) Rychcik of Bradford, Pa. They also have four grandchildren: Bobbi-Sue Cole of Falconer, N.Y., and Brianna, Joshua and Shaelyn Rychcik, all of Bradford, Pa.
Cole and the former Elizabeth Flick were married Dec. 26, 1959, in the Fallscreek Methodist Church in Fallscreek, Pa. The Rev. Henry Morris performed the ceremony.
Cole is retired from Alcoa of Randolph, N.Y., and is a member of Cardinal Hills Golf Course in Randolph, N.Y. Mrs. Cole is semi-retired from WCA Hospital, working part-time at the Randolph Clinic. She is also a published author of a cookbook.
