JAMESTOWN POLICE

Nicole D. Constantino, 37, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident early Sunday morning, after an accident on the closed Washington Street bridge. Around 1:40 a.m., police were called to the intersection of the bridge and Second Street in downtown Jamestown to investigate a vehicle that went through the construction signs and struck a cement barrier on the bridge. Upon arrival, the vehicle was gone, but police reported that it was stopped at the intersection of Front and Tew streets, and that Constantino was the driver. The vehicle reportedly had heavy damage to the front end and Constantino was allegedly intoxicated. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

Daniel J.M. Holland, 21, of Jamestown was charged with DWI and cited for failing to use the designated lane Sunday morning, after he allegedly struck a parked car on South Main Street. Police reported that around 2:20 a.m., there were marked patrol cars in the area where South Main Street intersects with Axtel Street with officers looking into a disturbance complaint. Holland allegedly attempted to drive past the patrol car and side swiped a parked car on the side of the road. He was pulled over and allegedly failed field sobriety tests, and was taken to the city jail.

Tommy Williams of Jamestown was charged with second-degree robbery and third-degree assault Saturday, after police were called to 105 Weeks St. for a reported assault in progress. Police reported that around 7:30 p.m., they arrived in the area and found a victim with visible injuries. Officers reported that they learned that the victim was allegedly assaulted and robbed by Williams in the house. Williams was taken into custody and held at the city jail awaiting arraignment and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Williams was arraigned on Sunday and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail without bail. He will return to court March 12.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

DUNKIRK - A 17-year-old male from Fredonia was charged with violating the state's zero tolerance law for drinking and driving while under the age of 21. The youth, whose name is not being released because of his age, was reportedly driving on Bennett Road in Dunkirk around 1:26 a.m. on Saturday when deputies pulled him over for driving without headlights. Following a check of his DMV record, he was found to be driving out of class, making him an unlicensed operator due to the time of day. He was also allegedly found to have consumed alcoholic beverages and was subsequently charged. In addition to the alcohol-related charge, he was charged with being an unlicensed operator and cited for driving without headlights. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

FRENCH CREEK - A Sherman woman and her infant son were taken to WCA Hospital on Saturday following an accident on New Buffalo Road around 11:19 a.m. Deputies reported that 21-year-old Heather Redlecki was traveling south when she came upon an unfamiliar curve in the road and lost control of her vehicle, sending it into a snow embankment. She sustained a minor head injury and her 7-month-old son was uninjured, as he was properly secured in a child-safety seat, deputies said. They were both taken to the hospital by Clymer volunteer firefighters and EMTs and no charged were filed in connection with the accident.

GERRY - Kimberly A. Nickerson, 31, of Gerry was charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for speeding on Sunday, following a traffic stop on Route 60 around 1:35 a.m. Nickerson was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

KIANTONE - Jon Golden, 47, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree aggravated harassment after he allegedly made a threatening phone call to a Kiantone resident on Feb. 23. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in Busti Town Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE

DEPARTMENT

LAKEWOOD - David A. Buvoltz, 21, of Randolph was charged with petit larceny on Saturday around 5:50 p.m. after he was allegedly caught stealing two items from Wal-Mart. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

POMFRET - Fidel Jiminez Lopez, 26, a Fredonia resident, was taken into custody for illegal entry into the United States, following a traffic stop on Route 20. Troopers reported that around 10 p.m., Lopez was pulled over for an exhaust violation, and was unable to produce a Visa or Passport. The immigration and Customs Enforcement was contacted, and was able to confirm that Lopez was in the country illegally, according to state police. He was taken into custody and turned over to customs officials at the State Police Barracks in Fredonia.

MINA - Daniel E. Keller, 27, of Pittsburgh, Pa. was charged with second-degree criminal personation while 24-year-old Jennifer L. Troup of Cranberry, Pa., was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration Feb. 28, following an unspecified incident on Route 26 around 10:38 a.m. They were released with appearance tickets and will be in court later.

HANOVER - Robert M. Lewis, 42, of Perrysburg was charged with first-offense DWI following a traffic stop Saturday. Troopers reported that he was stopped for speeding on Route 39 in Hanover around 10:30 p.m., and allegedly found to be intoxicated. A breath test allegedly revealed his blood-alcohol content was .16 percent, twice the legal limit. He was processed at the State Police barracks in Fredonia and released to a third party with an appearance ticket.

DUNKIRK -Cheryl L. Powless, 39, of Brocton was charged with first-offense DWI on Saturday, following a traffic stop on Waldorf Avenue in Dunkirk. Troopers reported that she was pulled over for allegedly making an improper turn onto Brigham Road and a breath test allegedly revealed her BAC was .15 percent. She was processed at the state police barracks in Fredonia and released with an appearance ticket.

SALAMANCA POLICE

SALAMANCA - Samantha Cornelius, 31, of Wellsville turned herself in on Monday on an active warrant charging her with second-degree aggravated harassment. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in Salamanca City Court later.

Lance O. Capron, 24, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation on Saturday, following a traffic stop around 9 p.m. Police reported that Capron was allegedly driving at night without head lights and was allegedly driving on a suspended license. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

PENNSYLVANIA LAW ENFORCEMENT

WARREN - Warren city police reported that Penny L. Moore, 58, of Warren was driving her vehicle east on Pennsylvania Avenue and turning left on Hickory Street when she struck 75-year-old Warren resident Theofannie L. Newmaker at 6:32 p.m. this past Thursday. According to police, Newmaker sustained minor injuries. Police reported Newmaker violated obedience of pedestrians to controls, though no citations were written.

SPRING CREEK - Warren-based state police reported that Jace Matthew Greenwald, no age given, of Northeast, Pa., was charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, theft and underage drinking on Sunday, after two Corry residents awoke to find him inside their home. Police said the victims confronted Greenwald and he fled on foot, although he was apprehended on Hyde Road along with several items belonging to the victims. He was placed in the Warren County Jail on a probation detainer from Erie County and will be in court later.

PLEASANT - Warren-based state police reported that a Pennsylvania couple were taken to the hospital with serious injuries on Saturday, after an accident on Route 62. Around 3 p.m., a 2004 Ford Explorer driven by 24-year-old Pittsfield resident Valerie Hunt was southbound, as was a 1999 Saturn SC-1 coupe driven by 69-year-old Larry Watson of Warren. Police reported that as Watson's Saturn was slowing in preparation for a right turn onto Grunderville Road, he was rear-ended by Hunt's SUV. His car spun 180 degrees and came to rest in the northbound lane. Both cars sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. Hunt was uninjured, but Watson and his passenger, 72-year-old Marilyn J. Watson were both injured. Mr. Watson was taken to Warren General Hospital by Emergycare ambulance service while Mrs. Watson was flown from the scene to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. for treatment of chest and back injuries.

tommy williams what a scumbag. They call him "mooney" for all that don't know. Welfare kids fathered by him running the streets of Jamestown and all he has time to do is rob and get high. How about getting a job?
