Duane M. and Caryl J. Butler of Jamestown, N.Y., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 4, 2010, with a family dinner at Lakewood Rod and Gun Club in Lakewood, N.Y. They are the parents of David W. and Daniel D. Butler, both of Jamestown, N.Y., and Donald L. and Tabetha Butler, both of Ashville, N.Y. They also have five grandchildren: David D. Butler of Jamestown, N.Y., Dawn Marie and Tim Kaylor of Shreveport, La., Michael S., Peter T. and Molly Butler, all of Ashville, N.Y., and two great-grandchildren: Alexa Ann and Amelia Kaylor, both of Shreveport, La.
Butler and the former Caryl J. Meehan were married Feb. 4, 1950, in Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church rectory in Jamestown, N.Y. Msgr. Tobin performed the ceremony.
Butler had been employed by Jamestown Metal Products. They are members of Ss. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, the American Legion and the Lakewood Rod and Gun Club.
