Inga Moseler, 88, completed her life journey surrounded by family members on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, in Tempe, Ariz., where she lived with her companion, Paul Howard.
Born in Goteborg, Sweden, she graduated from high school in Jamestown, N.Y., and lived for more than 50 years in Greenhurst, N.Y., before moving to Tempe. She had the gift of a servant's heart and love for all God's creatures, the arts and conversation around the dinner table.
Her parents, Gust and Ingeborg (Hanson) Lundgren, her husband, Richard "Mo" Moseler, and a grandson, Richard "Rickey" Moseler, preceded her in death. She is survived by two sisters: Rose Elizabeth "Betty" Lundgren of Chicago, Ill., and Elsie (Daniel) Wood of Mayville, N.Y.; two sons: Daniel (Kathy) Moseler of Harrisburg, Pa., and Michael (Barbara) Moseler of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter, Kelly Joslyn, of Frewsburg, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Christine (Scott) Roughton, of Virginia Beach; three grandsons: James Moseler of Buffalo, N,Y,, Michael (Amy) Moseler of Virginia Beach, and Peter (Tracy) Moseler of Hillsboro, Ore; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her honor to: Hospice of the Valley, Friendship Village, 2525 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282; her church, St. Matthew United Methodist, 2540 W. Baseline, Mesa, AZ 85202; her home church, Christ First United Methodist, 663 Lakeview Avenue, Jamestown, NY 14701-3105; Fluvanna Fire Department, 3536 Fluvanna Avenue Ext., Jamestown, NY 14701-9728; or your local hospice or Humane Society.
A memorial service will be arranged in Jamestown at the convenience of the family.
