FINDLEY LAKE - Findley Lake will host several shopping specials Saturday and Sunday as well as a chance for children to see Santa Claus from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Water Wheel.

Free cookies from Mrs. Claus and a story will be available from 3 to 5 p.m. both days at the Findley Lake Market.

There will also be free pizza and coloring for children from 1 to 3 p.m. at Z's On The Lake.

Wonderments Wine Shoppe will have free wine tastings throughout the weekend while Our Own Candle Co. will have beach glass candle making demonstrations. The candle company's outlet store will have several discounts available as well.

The Findley Lake General Store is giving away a free turkey and hosting a turkey shoot. The French Creek Tavern will also be having several giveaways for patrons.

Experts at Findley Lake Sporting Goods will be available to help those interested prepare for the skiing season, and Matters of the Hearth employees will be available to discuss tax credits available with the purchase of a new gas stove.

Girls Night Out at the Blue Heron from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday will also have wine tastings, angel card readings, hand massages, giveaways and other events.
