SINCLAIRVILLE - Nancy J. Mower, 68, of Sinclairville died Wednesday, November 11, 2009, at the Lutheran Home and Rehab Center, Jamestown.
Born August 9, 1941, in Jamestown daughter of the late James and Emma Smith McCann. A Chautauqua County resident most of her life, she was a 1960 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She was employed as a cook at several area restaurants and facilities including Jamestown General Hospital, Hotel Lenhart and Greenhurst Nursing Home.
Nancy was a former member of the Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing and doll making.
Wife of LeRoy P. Mower; mother of Sally (Paul Blasdell) Johnson, David (Shari) Mower, all of Sinclairville, LeRoy, (Cindy), Mower of Jamestown, James (Heather) Mower of Gerry; grandmother of Nicole (Rondell) Lathan, Kayla (Jeff) Senear, Samantha, Kody and Cameron Mower, all of Jamestown, Robert Blasdell, Brittany and Zachary Mower, all of Sinclairville, Collin and Landen Mower, both of Gerry; great-grandmother of Damon and Joshiah Senear, both of Jamestown; Sister of Fred McCann of Georgia and the late Luella Gilbert and Janet Whitehill.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday in Jordan Funeral Home, Sinclairville. Visitation 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Sinclairville.
