OPEN LEAGUE

Dan Longnecker and Sam Varo scored twice and Aric Kopf once as the Hooligans edged Zwieg's, 5-4, at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena.

Longnecker came up with two assists, Bob Schonthaer and Mark Needham and Kopf one each for the winners.

Don Schmelzinger, Andy Dykstra, Corey Alm and Jon Alm scored for Zwieg's. Greg Rogers and Dave Spitz added two assists and Stefan Alm one.

John Schuyler tallied three times, Randy Stuart and Mike Hurley twice each as Schuyler's Blue Bombers trimmed the Suburban Blend, 7-3.

Schuyler and Mike Rizzo two assists and Mike Hurley and Tom McFall one each for the Blue Bombers, who had Paul Weinstein in goal.

For Suburban Blend, Justin Murray scored twice and Seth Meurer once. Ed Degnan and Mark Chimura had two assists and Buddy Degnan one.

Ben Sample connected for three goals and an assist and Nick Snyder had four assists and a goal as the Sunday Sud Suckers defeated Arnone's, 8-6.

Tim Nelsen, Brian Nelsen and Matt Englebert had a goal and an assist and John Foti had a goal for the Sud Suckers. Jim Manno assisted on three goals while goalie Cody Nelsen and Adam Sadowski assisted on two.

Jordan Woleen and Zach Woleen split four goals in defeat with Zach Woleen having an assist. Ryan Arnone and Dimitri Theofilactidis a goal apiece.

Dan Brunenavs had two assists, Orlon Purslow and Arnone one each for Arnone's.

Westburgh Electric and Pizza Express tied at 5-5.

Dan Blixt and Ron Rothleder recorded two goals and Rod Anderson one for Westburgh Electric. Todd Eklund had three assists, Kevin Harvey and Rothleder two each and Anderson one.

Pizza Express was led by Travis Sanders with two goals and an assist and by Jesse Gould with two assists and a goal. Jason Maybach and Al Maybach had a goal while Brett Mlacker and Alex Groters divided four assists and Bud Tomassi added one.

Brian Wojcinski tallied three goals and two assists while Josh Croxton had a goal and four assists when the Monnies took the Lakewood Golf Center, 7-4.

Scott Welle had a goal and three assists, Scott Wojcinski had a goal and two assists, Larry Dupere scofred a goal and an assist, and Ray Deland and Stu Van Dixon each had an assist for the Monnies.

Matt Henry's two goals led Lakewood. Mike Brown had a goal and an assist and Jesse Nelsen a goal and two assists. John Jablonski, Adam Padd and goalie Cody Nelsen had an assist.

B LEAGUE

Jason Mank scored two goals and an assist as Warren Eardocs beat Merrill Lynch, 5-1.

Rob Talbett had two assists and a goal, Howard Levenstein and Jodi Peterson had a goal for the victors. Wolf-Dieter Krahn and Greg Wozneak added assists.

Kevin Beaton scored the lone goal against Joe Gerace with assists from Eric Corey and Tom Minarovich.

Schutte's Team edged Superior Tire 5-4, as Don Nichols scored three goals and an assist and Fred Moyer added two goals.

Luke Buehler and Greg Krauza added assists in the winning cause.

Matt Wilkins, Mike Johnson, George Cianco and Ben Farnham scored the goals and Farnham added two assists for the Superior Tire.
