JAMESTOWN POLICE

Andrew Lecceardone, 26, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment Monday morning, after police were called to investigate a domestic dispute at a Filbert Street home around 3:30 a.m. Officers reported that upon arrival, they spoke with a female victim who reported that Lecceardone attempted to remove her from the house in front of a 5-year-old child and injured her head in the process. He was taken to the city jail without incident and held awaiting arraignment.

Chad Chamberlain, 28, of Jamestown was taken into custody at his home Friday for allegedly violating the terms of his parole. During an Operation Impact detail, JPD along with state troopers, sheriff's deputies, and officers from the probation, parole and liquor authority, along with department of development officials, checked 28 homes and 11 bars, looking for parole and probation violations. Police reported that more arrests are expected pending an investigation by the parole and probation departments.

ELLICOTT POLICE

WEST ELLICOTT - Heidi L. Casel, 44, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree grand larceny after an investigation into a complaint filed by a local business. Casel was taken into custody this past Thursday, arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.

WEST ELLICOTT - Jamie Sue Bellotti, 46, of Shippenville, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and cited for having inadequate lights Sunday, after a traffic stop on Fairmount Avenue. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

ELLICOTT - James L. Brown II, 17, of Bemus Point was charged with felony DWI, failure to submit to a pre-screen test, driving an unregistered vehicle, failure to comply with the requests of an officer and crossing the hazzard markings Sunday, after a traffic stop led to a short pursuit. Brown was stopped a short time after police initially tried to pull him over and he was taken into custody. Brown was arraigned in front of Judge Sam Ognibene who committed him to the Chautauqua County Jail.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S

CARROLL - Thomas R. Hagberg, 42, of Frewsburg was charged with aggravated DWI and cited for moving from lane unsafely and unlicensed operation Saturday after a traffic stop on Ivory Road around 1 a.m. Deputies reported that Hagberg was pulled over for allegedly crossing the fog line and driving on the shoulder and allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

HANOVER - Joshua J. DeVlieger, 18, of Forestville and Steven P. Cardot, 18, of Cassadaga were both charged with third-degree criminal trespassing Monday, following an investigation assisted by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Department. Deputies reported that DeVlieger was additionally charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, stemming from the incident where auto parts were stolen from a business in Hanover. DeVlieger is currently in the Cattaraugus County Jail on an unrelated charge, and a detainer was issued. Cardot was released with an appearance ticket.

HANOVER - Bryan R. Novaro, 19, and Herbert W. Overbeck, 27, both of Silver Creek, were charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, fifth-degree criminal conspiracy and Overbeck was additionally charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property while Novaro was additionally charged with falsely reporting an incident and offering a false written statement. Deputies reported that Overbeck allegedly sold a 60-inch TV to a third party, which was illegal since it belonged to a local rent-to-own store, and Novaro allegedly knew this when he filed a report stating that it was stolen. Both were taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail. They will return to court later.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

GERRY - Ian W. Carnahan, 26, of Jamestown was charged with first-offense DWI on Halloween morning, after he was pulled over on County Route 380 in Gerry around 4:15 a.m. He was processed and released to a third party with an appearance ticket.

HANOVER - Melissa D. Vanremmen, 22, of Eden, N.Y., was charged with first-offense DWI Saturday morning, after she was pulled over around 5:19 a.m. on Routes 5 and 20 in Hanover. She was processed and released with an appearance ticket.

POMFRET - Cody M. Abbey, 21, of Ashville was charged with first-offense DWI Sunday morning, after a traffic stop on Route 60 around 2:25 a.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in Pomfret Town Court later.

POMFRET - Danielle E. Howie, 32, of Ashville was charged with second-degree assault Sunday evening, after police were called to investigate a domestic dispute around 6:17 p.m. Howie was taken into custody and held in lieu of bail awaiting arraignment.

SOUTH DAYTON - Michael J. Hill, 18, of South Dayton was charged with second-degree reckless endangerment Saturday after police were called to a Pine Street home around 10:30 a.m. He was released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
