SINCLAIRVILLE - She's the new kid on the block at the Sinclairville Free Library, but Cindy Pagano is no newcomer when it comes to library operations.

Pagano, a former director of Stockton's Mary E. Seymour Memorial Library, is the local facility's new administrative assistant, according to Library Manager Beth Hadley. The new staffer succeeds Cathy Kahle, who held the post for about a year before moving on to a fulltime job.

"The library has always been very fortunate to attract great people,'' Hadley said, in her recent announcement. ''We wish Cathy the best, and we're looking forward to working with our new assistant.''

''It's wonderful to be back in a library again,'' Pagano said. ''I discovered long ago, that working with people and books is one of my greatest enjoyments.''

In addition to heading the Stockton library for eight years, Pagano is a former employee at the Book Nook, part of the D&F Plaza at Dunkirk. She lives with her husband, David at a farm on Chautauqua Road, Fredonia.
