Robert and Joan Winter of Rotunda West, Fla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July 2009 with a family dinner in Branson, Mo. The celebration was hosted by their daughter, Kathy Johnson. They are the parents of Robert Winter of Omaha, Neb., Mike Winter of Louisville, Ohio, Greg Winter of Jamestown, N.Y., and Kathy Johnson of Rogers, Ark. They also have four grandchildren.
Winter and the former Joan Okesson, formerly of Jamestown, N.Y., were married Oct. 24, 1959, in Erie, Pa. The Rev. Carter performed the ceremony.
Winter is a former employee of National Forge in Irvine, Pa. Mrs. Winter is a former employee of Warren General Hospital, Warren, Pa.
