ELLICOTT POLICE DEPARTMENT
FALCONER - Donald W. Foster, 52, of Conewango Valley was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breathalyzer and several traffic infractions after he was pulled over in Falconer on Saturday morning. He was taken into custody, arraigned and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.
FALCONER - Two 17-year-old youths were charged with obstruction of governmental administration and underage possession of alcohol Saturday after police were called to the area of West Main and Alberta streets to investigate a report of disorderly subjects who were possibly fighting. The youths were taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the county jail where they were held in lieu of bail.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tracy L. Kightlinger, no age given, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree criminal contempt Sunday when officers went to 24 Dearborn Ave. to serve a Jamestown City Court warrant. Police say Kightlinger was at the house with a person in violation of an order of protection. Kightlinger was taken into custody on the warrant and the contempt charge and held at the city jail awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
SHERIDAN - Mia M. Stoll, 20, of Dunkirk was charged with making a punishable false written statement Sunday after she allegedly reported a false burglary at her home, claiming that items worth several thousand dollars were stolen. Once questioned further by investigators, she reportedly cooperated. She was released with an appearance ticket and will be in Sheridan Town Court later.
CASSADAGA - Adam W. Hale, 26, of Jamestown was charged with third-degree assault Sunday after he allegedly punched another person in the face at the Kwik Fill in Cassadaga. Deputies say the victim suffered lacerations and severe pain, but declined treatment on the scene. New York State Police also responded to the call and Hale was released with an appearance ticket.
CHERRY CREEK - Evan G. Predmore, 25, of Cherry Creek was charged with DWI, having an open alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and speeding Sunday. Deputies say Predmore was pulled over for speeding around 3:37 p.m. and allegedly found to be intoxicated. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
SHERMAN - Daryl K. Freeman, 40, of Sherman was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property Sunday for allegedly removing a digital trail camera from a tree in Ripley. Deputies say the camera was at his home when they arrived, and he was released with an appearance ticket.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
SOUTH DAYTON - Brennon J. Card, 17, of South Dayton was charged with second-degree menacing and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Friday after troopers were called to Pine Valley Elementary School around 3 p.m. He was released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
ELLICOTT - Joshua M. Stone, 17, of Stillwater, N.Y., was charged with first-offense DWI and driving while ability impaired by drugs Saturday after he was pulled over on Route 394 around 1:08 a.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
CHERRY CREEK - Donald A. Riggs, 50, of South Dayton was charged with aggravated DWI and cited for failing to keep right and driving an uninspected vehicle Friday after a traffic stop on Milestrip Road around 10:25 p.m. He was processed and released to a third party with an appearance ticket.
SOUTH DAYTON - Nicole J. Harper, 19, of South Dayton was charged with resisting arrest and cited for unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct Saturday, after an incident on Cottage Road around 4:45 p.m. She was taken into custody and held in lieu of bail.
CARROLL - Mark E. Skinner, 44, of Russell, Pa., was charged with felony DWI after he was pulled over on Old Warren Road in the town of Carroll around 2:25 a.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in court later.
SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT
SALAMANCA - Laura L. Grall, 26, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, was charged with five counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, DWI, driving while ability impaired by drugs and several traffic infractions Sunday after a traffic stop around 1:52 a.m. Police say she was found to be in possession of several prescription drugs during the traffic stop. She was released with an appearance ticket.
SALAMANCA - Perry J. Winship Jr., 24, of Little Valley was charged with aggravated DWI and cited for moving from the lane unsafely Sunday after a one-vehicle property-damage accident around 5:11 a.m. He was released with an appearance ticket.
SALAMANCA - Raymond R. Fernandez, 30, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree assault and endangering the welfare of a child Saturday after police were called around 11:45 a.m. He was released with an appearance ticket.
PENNSYLVANIA LAW ENFORCEMENT
WARREN - Conewango Township police reported that Amanda Page, 19, of Clarendon, Pa. was charged with retail theft on Sept. 22, after an investigation focusing on her employment at the K-Mart store in the Warren Mall. Police reported while employed at K-Mart, Page took merchandise with a total value of $258.18.
WARREN - Conewango Township police reported that David Baker, 31, of Sheffield, Pa., was charged with retail theft on Sept. 22, after an investigation focusing on his employment at the K-Mart store in the Warren Mall. Police reported while employed at K-Mart between July 2008 and Sept, 2009, Baker took merchandise with a total value of $3,500.
SUGAR GROVE TOWNSHIP - According to Warren-based state police, Robert L. Crane Jr., 32, of Pittsfield, Pa., was traveling north on Route 69 at 7:17 a.m. Wednesday with a load of gravel in a 1987 Mack Superliner and did not realize that his rear gate was not properly secure, causing a significant amount of gravel to leak out onto the roadway. As Dana S. Kibbey, 43, of Sugar Grove, passed Crane while heading southbound in a 2004 Mazda 6, as well as Jordan M. Feldman, 20, of Youngsville, in a 2009 Pontiac G-5, several pieces of gravel struck the front bumpers, hoods, windshields and front quarter panel areas, causing moderate chips and scratches to both vehicles, police said. The police were called and Crane was cited for not properly securing loads in vehicles.
MEAD TOWNSHIP - According to Warren-based state police, Ryan S. Copley, 30, of Sheffield, was heading southbound on Forest Road 160 on his 2007 motorcycle at 6:40 p.m. Friday, when the front tire struck a pothole, causing him to lose control while negotiating a left hand curve. Copley, who was wearing a helmet, was transported by Clarendon volunteer firefighters to Warren General Hospital for treatment of a moderate ankle injury.
YOUNGSVILLE - Warren-based state police report that at 7:30 a.m. Thursday, troopers were dispatched to investigate the death of Kenneth John Bigley, 50, at 206 Main St., Youngsville, after family attempted several times to contact him by phone since 2 p.m. Wednesday. No foul play is suspected, police said, who were assisted at the scene by Youngsville volunteer firefighters.
