ELLICOTTVILLE - The Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a bow hunting education class on Oct. 6 and Oct. 7 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Ellicottville Fire Department.
There is no charge for the class and participants must attend both days of instruction to receive a certificate. The department requests that participants be at least 12 years old, although an 11-year-old can take the class if a parent attends with the child.
Class size is limited to 30 students and those attending must bring some form of identification such as a driver's license, birth certificate, or other acceptable document as well as a pen or pencil. Participants may also bring snacks or something to drink.
