Grant Delbert Lindstrom passed away on Sept. 7, 2009, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie, Pa. He was 74 years old.
He was born on November 16, 1934, to the late Axel and Lolo (Chelton) Lindstrom.
He was an over-the-road trucker for more than 40 years. Besides his family, Grant was very proud of his antique tractor collection.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Donna Mae (VanEvery) Lindstrom; three sons and their wives: Howard and
Jeana Lindstrom of Ripley, N.Y., Donald and Jenica Lindstrom of Bethalto, Ill., and Michael and Michelle Lindstrom of Westfield, N.Y.; one daughter and her husband, Prudence and Alan Waters of Ripley, N.Y.; his 12 grandchildren:
Staff Sgt. Austin Waters of Fort Leonardwood, Mo., Dustin and Alice Waters and Meranda Rater of Ripley, N.Y., Shane and Amber Lindstrom of Fredonia, N.Y., Ashley and Andrew Lindstrom of Westfield, N.Y., Danielle and Justin Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Dylan and Trinton Mueller of Bethalto, Ill., also survive. Grant leaves behind five great-grandchildren: Mason Rater, Jameson and Reyn Waters, and Lillyanah Klaes, all of Ripley, N.Y., as well as Riley Lindstrom of Westfield, N.Y. Also sur-viving are his brothers: Charlie and Maryetta Lindstrom of Busti, N.Y., and Leon Lindstrom of Brocton, N.Y.; and sisters: Viola Smith of Easley, S.C., Joan Cantrell of Nobleton, Fla., and Helen and Bill
Nellis of Ripley, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron Waters; two sisters: Irma Ackermond and Grace
Lindstrom; and three brothers: Joseph, Clifford and Frank Lindstrom.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at 8 p.m. in the Matthews Funeral Home of Ripley, N.Y., with the Rev. Donald Eggleston officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the service and may call between the hours of 4 and 8 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
Interment will be in the East Ripley Cemetery in Ripley, N.Y.
