Mary Jane Spaulding shot a 42 to lead the way in the Willowettes League at Willow Run Golf Course.

Dorothy Nelson and Elba Lawson checked in with 43s to tie for second place.

Patti Swanson recorded a gross 38 and Shirley Olson and Mary Mackey tied with a net 35 in First Flight in the Thursday Morning League at Cable Hollow Golf Course.

Pat Weeks was second with a gross 42 while Jill Dart was the net runnerup with a 35. Mackey won the tournament.

Judy Larson was the gross leader in the Second Flight with a 49 and Laura Martin added a 50. Ann Fruin and Grace Backstrom shot a net 35s and Geri Swanson and Heta Martin were runnerups with 36s.

Laura Martin was the tournament winner?

In the Third Flight, Isabel Vesico led with a gross 54 and Bev Cox had a 56.

Judy Littlejohn had a net 36, and Lucy Cook, De Martin, Elsa Hern and Jeanette Carlson shot a 38. Lois Tannler was the tourney leader.

Carolyn John spearheaded the Fourth Flight with a 64 and Nancy McCann was the runnerup with a 65. Phyllis Broadbent drilled a net 33 and Mary Lynn Salerno a net 35.

Priscilla Spencer was the tournament winner.

In the Tuesday Morning League, Tom Giardina and Tom Buttafaro were the winners with a best-ball net 29 at Timber Creek.

Bob Causebrook and Paul Hopkins and Terry Mahoney and Vince D'Angelo were tied for second with net 32s.

Carl Raineir and Joe Riolo were next with a net 33, Ang D'Angelo and Pete D'Angelo shot a net 34, and Carl Sandstrom and Rune Johnson a net 38.

Causebrook was the closest to the pin on No. 7.

Bob Sargent led the Wednesday Morning League with a 38 and Bruce Brightman hit a 40 at Timber Creek.

Joan Warner was the leading scratch score with a 49 and Carol Wayne had the low net with a 35 in the Wednesday Morning Ladies League at Breezewood Golf Course.

Nancy Barkstrom and Carol Wayne shot a 52 gross to be tied for second place. Joan Warner's 36 was second low net.

Barkstrom and Sylvia Fiorello had the fewest putts with 14.

Jeanne Wiebenga led the Designer Nine event of the Chautauqua Women's Golf Association with a net 28 at the Chautauqua Golf Club.

Peg Meyerson was second with a 28.5 while Pat Peters and Cathy Smith hit a net 29.

Anne Neville, Mary Khosh and Pat Moynihan were tied with a net 29.5.

Martha Bates was the nine holers event winner with Babs Hancock second.

CASSADAGA - Darren Mangine of H & L and Brad Kelly of Meridia shared medalist honors with a 35 in the Thursday Night Men's League at Cassadaga Country Club.

Harry Eppinger of Crystal Cove was third with a 36 and had a birdie on No. 15. Mangine and H & L teammate Aaron Beichner had birdies on No. 16 and No.17, respectively.

Brad Kelly was the closest to the pin on No. 15.

NORTH WARREN Maurice Bennett and Sonia Probst, along with Don and Halllie Dubia, delivered a net 45 to win the Couples Tournament at the Conewango Valley Country Club on Friday.

Dick and Onda Cole and Bart Jensen and Tammy Latona were second with a net 46.

Jack and Nancy Shattuck and Scott and Bonnie Reynolds hit a net 47 for third place..

Rich Stover and Scott Stover took the Cable Hollow 2-Man League with net 147.5 points at the Cable Hollow Golf Course.

Dan Tassone and John Lopez were second with net 139 points.

Pat Weeks and Sharon Dowd led the South Hills Tuesday Night Ladies League with 47s at the South Hills Country Club.

Anne Smith, who shot a 45 last week, and Lynn Radack hit 48s.

Brandon Kellogg fired a 39 gross and Henry Beitsinger and Craig Mayer shot 32 net in the Brokenstraw Valley Golf League. .

Keith Bertch, Mike Knight and Art Olson picked up birdies.

Ryan Querreveld was the pacesetter with a gross 37 in the Monday Night Paul Holmes Memorial League at Cable Hollow Golf Club.

Randy Johnson was the net leader with a 31.

After 12 weeks of play, Peterson Auctions moved into first place with 128.5 points and Bag Babes is a close second with 127 points.

Millers Grove is third with 122, the Quality Markets II fourth with 117.5 points and Peterson Auctions II fifth with 115.5 points.

Sue Gruber led the ladies with 46, Joann Taylor was next with 49, Marcy Danielson shot a 50, Christine Emborsky had 51, Peggy Hooks carded a 53 and Peggy Gruber had 54.

Kathy Bradshaw shot a league-leading 42 to pace the Ladies Wednesday Night Golf League at Cassadaga Country Club.

In best-ball action, Linnea Nichols and Barb Swan were first with 24, Jodi Hoffman and Melissa Kelly finished second with 26, Laura Wintersteen and Stacy Wintersteen placed third with 27, Sheila Whitford and Gayle McKinney were fourth with 29 while Donna Frost and Michelle Helmer, Pat Gens and Carol Baker and Kaycee Wagner and Debbie Lloyd-Priest each followed with 30s.

Stacy Wintersteen was closest to the pin on No. 6 and Helmer was closest on No. 15.

In 18-hole best-ball action during Men's Day at Conewango Valley Country Club, Bob Follett and Ed Kavanaugh and Chad Vincini and Duane Vicini tied for first with 61 while Pat Hepinger and Jim Vecellio and Jason Diley and Maurice Bennett were next with 62 and Derek Harrison and Phil Simmons placed third with 63.

Bob Gunderson and Dave Gerringer topped the 9-hole best ball with 31 and Drew Young and Jim Swanson were second with 32.

Dick Cole and Dave Onoratti shot 37s to lead the Master's Flight with Doug Swanson and Chris Sundberg sharing second with 38s. Dan Greco and Jerry Bancroft won the special event.

Chad Vincini carded a 40 to pace the U.S. Open Flight with Rocky O'Sheill second with 42 and Gary Evans taking the special event.

In the PGA Flight, Phil Simmons, Mike McElrath and John Bevevino shared first place with 40s, Jason Diley and Dave Gerringer tied for second with 41 and Jim Pullan won the special event.

Joe Palermo, Larry Loughlin and Duane Vicini led the British Open Flight with 44, followed by Larry Moyert, Dave See and Bob Gunderson with 48s while Bob Metzger and Bill Bevevino took first in the special event.

Finally, in the Walker Cup Flight, Charles MacKenzie and Ed Kavanaugh topped the list wth 49, Bill Mahan, Greg Gross and Marv Schuver each carded 50s for second place and Paul Frantangelo won the special event.

Pat Kinney shot a low-gross 41 to lead the way in the Donna Williams Golf League at Willow Run Golf Course on July 28.

Michelle Hamilton and Elba Lawson each carded a 42 to tie for second place.

Marie Grimm and Grace Dolan tied for the low net with a 31. Judy Schreve finished with a 32 as did Gene Olson. Betty Brown has a 33.

Low putts went to Kinney and Lawson. In a tournament that threw out two holes, Dolan was named the winner.

Elba Lawson's impressive round of a 35 led all scores in this week's Donna Williams Golf League from Willow Run Golf Course.

Pat Kinney finished three shots off the pace with a 38, Brownie Eggleston carded a 42 and Michelle Hamilton walked off the coruse with a 44.

The low net scores were led by Betty Olson with a 27. Four shots behind was Jayne Norsink with a 31, Gene Olson with a 31 and Betty Brown was five shots off the pace with a 32.

Lawson also carded low putts on the day with 14.

Bryan Range posted a low-gross 39 to win by two strokes in the Steve Lloyd's Siding League from Timber Creek Golf Course.

There was a tie for second place with Doug Smith and Darrell Gruber finishing at 41. Larrry Webb, Keith Smith, John Spina 43 and Dale Trembley each shot a 43. Dale Range had a 44 and Don Angelo finished with a 44.

Pat Swanson posted a league-best 40 to win the Mulligan Mamas Golf League held at Maplehurst Country Club on Monday.

Finishing five shots of the pace was Emily O'Neill with a 45.

Wendy Merchant led the net scores with a 33. Sweatman's net of 34 was second best on the day and Paula Morris chimed in with a 37.

Sweatman's stellar round was capped off with an eagle on hole No. 5 and a birdie on No. 6. Fran Carlson made a birdie on the fifth hole.

Gross scores: Gretchen Nasman 47, Lynn Radack 47, Lisa Sales 47, Paula Morris 47, Wendy Merchant 48, Mary Green 49.

Net scores: Marla Gressley 38, Lisa Sales 38, Gretchen Nasman 38, Deanna Fuller 39, Pat Kinney 39.

Tim Bulger led all scores with a 34 in the Cassadaga County Club Men's Golf League .

Finishing three shots off the pace was Sam Allesi. Pet Wintersteen came in third with a 39, Bill Baker shot a 40 and Rob Lancaster a 41. Don Meder finished with a 42 as did Jim Johnson.

Baker shot the low net with a 27 and Bulger was closest to the pin on No. 15.

The Senior Golf League at Sunset Valley Golf Course was led by Don Teter with a 76.

Ken Johnson finished one stroke off the pace and Don Hook carded a 78.

Dave Ostergaard shot an 82, Howie Peters an 83, Ray Tudor an 84 and Bill Samuelson an 86. Dick Cowan, Jim Hoyt and Don Cedarquist each posted an 89.

Jerry Ahlstrom and John Teigeler each finished with a 91. Dave Cole had a 95, Chuck Norquist a 97, Bob Lindburg a 98, Ralph Bramble a 100 and Gayle Meley a 100. Frank Jenkins scored a 103.

Jeanne Johnson led the women's scores with an 88, Lucy Arnone finished with a 92, Mary Meley had a 96, Rita Blitz a 97 and Pat Ostergaard a 107.

Barb Smith led all scores with a low-gross 42 in the A Flight of the Ladies Jackson Valley League.

Becky Campbell shot a low-net 32 to lead the A Flight net scores. In the B Flight, Kristy Zavinski carded a low gross 43 and Jenny Rondinelli a low-net 37.

In the C Flight, Souix Cole posted a low-gross 50 and Eva Luvison a low-net 33. Lois Gettings had a gross score of 56 in the D Flight and Diana Haslett a net score of 37.

Donna Munson posted a low-gross 79 in Class A of the Wednesday Morning Ladies League from Willow Run Golf Course.

Pat Kinney shot a low-net 65 in Class A.

In the B Class, Doris Large shot an 84 to lead the gross scores while Brownie Eggleston's 68 was best among the net scores.

Judy Young posted a 94 in Class C and Donna Swearingen a low-net 63.

Helen Adams had the low putts with 30.

A foursome of golfers led the field with a 35 in the HSBC Scratch League from the Bemus Point Golf Course.

Scott Crist, Scott Smith, Greg Scott and John Woodfield were ahead of the field. Jim Rameakers and Judd Bohall were each three shots off the pace with a 38.

Finishing with 39s were Petter Turnquist, Gary Hall, Brandon Waite and Jeff Blasdell. Finishing with 40s were Bryan Kennelly, Lou Swanson, Nate Briggs and Tim Hall.

The team of Smith and Swanson won the best-ball competition with a 32. Briggs was closest to the pin on hole No. 2 and Woodfield was on No. 6.

Mike Silts posted a 1over par 36 to lead the front nine scores in the Bill Sprague Memorial Golf League held at Chautauqua Golf Club.

Jason Lindahl finished one stroke off the pace with a 37 followed by Dave Brown with a 38.

On the back nine, a two-over par 39 gave Chuck Leichner the league win.

Corky Weary was four stroeks off the pace with a 43, one shot ahead of Don Husted.

Brushwood remains on top of the leauge standings with 244 points. In second place is Olive's Restaurant with 236. Chautauqua Brick rests in third place with 233 points ahead of Lakeview Bar with 228 and Freay's Funeral Home with 226.

Front nine: Mark Powers 39, Tim Voltman 41, Vince Munson 42, Corky Hall Sr. 42, Don Vorden 42, Dave Freay 44, Scott Smith 44, Bill Boria 44, Sid Hoyt 44.
