Madge Reed Scott
Madge Reed Scott born in Greenville, Pa., on Feb. 13, 1915, died Friday, July 31, 2009.
She married Robert Scott on June 14, 1941, who preceded her in death on Sept. 30, 2004.
She is survived by two sons: Gilbert Scott and his wife, Sue of Bear Lake, and Alan Scott and his wife, Lois of Bear Lake; one daughter, Carol Gundlach and her husband, Gary of Davenport, N.Y.; and 14 grandchildren: Andy Scott, Jennifer Moore, Rachael Eure, Luke Scott, Mark Scott, Sarah Ventresco, Nicole Marino, Kurtis Scott, Meghan Sirianni, Matthew Gundlach, Nathan Gundlach, Emily Gundlach, Elizabeth Gundlach, and Carley Rose Gundlach.
Madge graduaged from Thiel College in 1936,, and taught English and Latin at Lottsville High School in Warren County. She was a member of Lottsville United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years.
Friends will be received Monday, Aug. 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Sugar Grove Branch of McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. at the Lottsville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Lottsville Cemetery.
