Thomas M. Ames of Falconer has been honored by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors for 10 years of successfully maintaining the Certified Insurance Counselor designation, denoting significant commitment to advanced knowledge and customer service.

"This honor is an acknowledgement of the priority Mr. Ames places on education and professional growth," said Dr. William T. Hold, society president. "Customers, associates and the insurance profession as a whole benefit from such dedication."

Ames is the owner of Ames Insurance Agency, a full-service independent insurance agency founded in 1950 and located at 319 W. Main St., Falconer.
