JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Dora F. Lutgen, 48, of Jamestown was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right Saturday morning after a traffic stop on South Main Street around 2:21 a.m. Police say that while on patrol, an officer saw Lutgen driving very slow in the middle of the street, almost striking a parked vehicle. She was pulled over and a chemical test revealed her blood-alcohol content was more than .18 percent. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
Matthew Beardsly, 25, and Lynn Fraley, 27, both of Jamestown, were charged with sixth-degree conspiracy and Fraley was additionally charged with petit larceny after the duo was caught stealing things from parked cars on Stowe Street around 2:18 a.m. Police say they received a report of the incident and Beardsly and Fraley matched the description given. Police also say the pair had property on them which was taken from the vehicles on the street. They were taken to the city jail and held awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S
HANOVER - Several youths were cited for underage possession of alcohol Friday around 9 p.m. after deputies received a report that people were climbing on the breakwall at Sunset Bay. They were all issued tickets and will be in court later.
PORTLAND - Floyd Berry Jr., 30, of Portland was taken into custody on a warrant Friday charging him with unlawful possession of marijuana and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the county jail and will be in court later.
BROCTON - Teeaira R. Wollett, 21, of Westfield was charged with driving without insurance, driving with a suspended registration, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to notify the DMV of an address change Friday after a traffic stop on West Main Street in Brocton. She was taken into custody and released to another person with an appearance ticket.
RIPLEY - Deputies are reporting that Daniel Bryson, 50, of Ripley was injured in an accident on Route 5 in Ripley on Friday which required him to be taken to the Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. Deputies say he fell asleep at the wheel and went off the road, striking a tree.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
ELLICOTT - Bradley W. Johnson, 39, of Jamestown was charged with first-offense DWI on Saturday after a traffic stop on Route 430 just before 1 a.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE
YOUNGSVILLE - Daniel L. Howles, 36, of Corry, Pa., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended registration Friday after a traffic stop on State Route 6 at 2 a.m.
SUGAR GROVE - Benjamin Caldwell, 50, of Russell, Pa., was charged with DUI after he hit another vehicle in the Kwik Fill parking lot Friday around 11 p.m.
