WESTFIELD - Jesse Lee Baca, 22, of 8820 Route 20, Westfield, died unexpectedly, Monday, June 22, 2009, at home.

Jesse was born on Nov. 26, 1986, in Jamestown, N.Y., the son of Jennifer Ann Johnson and Donald Ray Baca.

He was a 2004 graduate of Westfield Academy and Central School, where he participated in football and ski club. When Jesse turned 17 years old, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. Following graduation from high school, he became an active duty serviceman and was deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan, serving his country as a security forces journeyman. Jesse was awarded several service ribbons and medals prior to his honorable discharge in August of 2008. He greatly enjoyed video games, four wheeling, his car, snowboarding and his family and friends.

Besides his mother, Jennifer Perrin, with whom he made his home in Westfield, Jesse is survived by his father, Donald Baca of Jamestown; his two sisters: Christina Johnson and Kylie Perrin of Westfield, N.Y.; and his brother: Justin Johnson of Cheyenne, Wyo. Jesse is further survived by his maternal grandmother, Maureen Meyers of Shippensburg, Pa.; his maternal grandfather, Norman Johnson of Kenmore, N.Y.; and his aunt, Pam Paciorkowski of Jamestown, N.Y. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Judith Nuse.

Family and friends are invited to call at the MA-SON FUNERAL HOME, 37 Clinton St., Westfield on Thursday, June 25, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held privately with full military honors. Memorials contributions may be made to his family.
