BUFFALO - Senior Aaron Benton of Gowanda was selected to the All-Western New York First Team as an infielder.

Brothers junior Asa Johnson and freshman Thad Johnson of Section 6 Class C Frewsburg were on the Second Team with junior Adam Neubauer of Jamestown and senior Jeff Dimmer of Fredonia.

Asa Johnson was a pitcher and compiled a 22-0 record over the last couple of years and Thad Johnson was named to the infield batting over .500.

Neubauer was selected to the infield where his more than 40 hits was one of the best totals in Jamestown history.

Dimmer was an outfielder for Section 6 Class B champion Fredonia and Bo Westling of Dunkirk was the designated hitter.

Senior outfielder Kyle Hoppy of Orchard Park was named Player of the Year.

Honorable mention went to Kyle Grey of Frewsburg, Bob Peting of Brocton, Rob Nalepa and Mike Tarnowski of Dunkirk, Jay John and Kris Kruszka of Gowanda.
