NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLICOTT - Jaime B. Butts, 27, of Jamestown was charged with first-offense DWI, identity theft, second-degree criminal personation, offering a false instrument for filing and forgery, following a traffic stop on Strunk Road around 12:45 a.m. Sunday morning. Police say he told them he was 26-year-old Neal Rickerson III, of Buffalo, and provided them with mostly accurate information about Rickerson. After Butts was released to his girlfriend, a trooper found his bank card in the parking lot and looked him up in the system. They found a picture of Butts in the file, and learned that he had lied about his identity. He was taken into custody at 1 p.m. the following day, arraigned in Ellicott Town Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail where he is being held without bail. Rickerson was identified as the suspect in an early report from the State Police which wasn't corrected when released to the media, resulting in his name appearing in Tuesday's police reports.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin E. Erickson, 22, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and obstructing an intersection Tuesday, after police found his vehicle stopped in the middle of the intersection of Forest and Hazeltine avenues around 2:24 a.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in Jamestown City Court later.

Stiles D. Brink, 21, of Frewsburg was charged with DWI and failure to dim high beams Tuesday, following a traffic stop on Forest Avenue around 12:10 a.m. Police say he was pulled over because his high beams were on as he passed the marked patrol car. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket and will be in Jamestown City Court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

CLYMER - James Hill, 31, of Clymer was charged with two counts of criminal mischief and second-degree harassment Tuesday, following a domestic incident around 3:40 a.m. Deputies say that the victim reported that Hill damaged a door and a telephone and slapped her several times. He was arraigned and released to return to court later.

STOCKTON - Louis B. Horton, 31, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree assault after he allegedly assaulted a man at the Kwik Fill in Cassadaga on June 5. He was arraigned and sent to the county jail where he is being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.

WARREN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Kevin S. Jackson, 22, of Jamestown was charged with forgery and criminal attempt to acquire a controlled substance on May 30, after police were called to the CVS pharmacy on Market Street for a forged prescription. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

Boyd F. Friend, 65, of Warren, Pa., was charged with public drunkenness on June 2, after police were called to investigate a report of an intoxicated man who fell and was lying on the sidewalk. He was taken to the hospital and given an appearance ticket.

Brandon J. Albaugh, 19, of Warren, Pa., was charged with furnishing alcohol to minors and Kelsi R. Freebough, 18, Dextri A. Zaffino, 20, and a 17-year-old girl were charged with underage drinking on May 28. Police say they were called to a Taft Street home and allegedly found them passing around a liquor bottle in the front yard.

Dannette L. Fiero, 27, and James F. Nork, 27, were both charged with simple assault and Nork was additionally charged with criminal mischief, after police were sent to a Lexington Avenue home for a domestic dispute on June 1.
