Randy and Marla Oste of Bemus Point celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary with a surprise party at Shaggy's. The celebration was hosted by Amy Peterson, Joan Oste and Arden Johnson. They are the parents of two sons, Scott R. and Marc D. Oste. Out of state guests attended from Ohio, Pennsylvania and California.
Oste and the former Marla Johnson were married May 19, 1984, in St. Timothy Lutheran Church. The Rev. Starke Drischell performed the ceremony.
Oste is employed by International Veneer Company, Inc., South Hills, Va., and Mercer, Pa. Mrs. Oste is employed by Maple Grove High School as a physical education teacher and tennis coach. Oste is a member of the Bemus Point School District Board of Education and the town of Ellery Planning Board. They are members of the Vikings, Rod & Gun Club and St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
