LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
LAKEWOOD - Justin A. Anderson, 19, of Lakewood was charged with second-degree harassment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree attempted criminal mischief after a series of incidents early Thursday morning in Lakewood. Around 12:45 a.m., police were called to 24 Ohio Ave. for a reported fight. Anderson allegedly punched another man in the face and ran from police when they arrived. Officers caught him a short distance from the house, but he then allegedly kicked the rear window of the police car once placed inside. The window did not break, but as he was being walked through the police garage on his way to be booked, Anderson allegedly kicked and broke the headlight of a patrol car. He was arraigned in front of Judge Elkin and sent to the county jail, where he is being held in lieu of $500 bail. He will return to court later.
JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
An 18-year-old from Ashville, and a 16- and 15-year-old, both of Jamestown, have all been charged with felony criminal mischief for their involvement with acts of vandalism at the Lake County Dodge dealership last month. Police say the trio damaged several vehicles, causing thousands of dollars in damages. The 18-year-old and 16-year-old were arraigned in Jamestown City Court and have been released to the probation department. The 15-year-old was sent to Family Court because of his age. All three will appear in court later.
Brooke K. Kelsey, 43, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and running a red light Thursday morning after a traffic stop on Buffalo Street. Police say around 12:44 a.m., they allegedly saw Kelsey run the red light at the intersection with Lakeview Avenue and she was pulled over. She allegedly failed a breath test and was found to be intoxicated. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
POLAND - Michael A. Hoitink, 21, of Flowery Branch, Ga., was taken into custody on a warrant out of his home state charging him with forgery. Deputies found him at the Pine Bluff Trailer Park Thursday around 7:50 a.m. He was arraigned as a fugitive from justice and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he is awaiting extradition.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
POLAND - Jeremy M. Bunce, 19, of Kennedy was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana at 10:52 p.m. Wednesday after a traffic stop on Route 394. He was given an appearance ticket and released.
PORTLAND - Esther A. Jackson, 39, of Brocton was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance Thursday following a traffic stop on Route 5 around 4 a.m. An appearance ticket was issued and Jackson will be in court later.
SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shawn Smith, 42, of Salamanca was charged with violating the terms of his probation Wednesday. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
Brian Snyder, 21, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree assault following a domestic dispute with his brother Thursday. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
Natasha Johnny John, 21, of Salamanca was charged with disorderly conduct for causing an unreasonable amount of noise Thursday at 2 a.m. She was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.
