JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Jennifer L. Lawson, 29, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to keep right at 2:09 a.m. Thursday following a traffic stop on Harrison Street. Police say they saw a green Pontiac run the stop sign at the corner of Institute and Harrison streets and cross the center line as it made the turn. The Pontiac was pulled over on Barrett Street and police say the driver, Lawson, was intoxicated. She was taken into custody and a breathalyzer allegedly determined her blood-alcohol content was more than the legal limit. She was held in lieu of bail at the city jail awaiting arraignment.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

ELLICOTT - Karl L. Seiberg, 24, of Jamestown was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana and Franklin R. Dulaney, 21, of Jamestown was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on Route 60 at 10:10 p.m. Wednesday. Both were processed and released with appearance tickets for Ellicott Town Court.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

GREAT VALLEY - Kevin Hart, 49, of Salamanca was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, second-degree harassment and trespassing Wednesday following a domestic dispute in Great Valley. Deputies say he allegedly destroyed several things belonging to his brother and was taken into custody.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Allen Larkin, 21, of Salamanca was taken into custody on a warrant charging him with violating the terms of his probation. He was held awaiting arraignment.

Bobby McClain, 36, of Salamanca was taken into custody Wednesday on two bench warrants and held awaiting arraignment.

Christopher Chase, 19, of Olean was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued from Olean City Court. He was processed and turned over to the Olean Police Department.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP - Police are investigating an incident where someone broke four windows at a camp on Davey Hill Road sometime between Sunday and Tuesday.

SUGAR GROVE - Police are investigating an incident where someone damaged an electric meter on a pole which ran to a home on Stoddard Road in Sugar Grove, Pa.

IRVINE - Police are investigating an incident where someone egged a Dodge Neon parked on Hazel Street in the village of Irvine, Pa.

MEAD TOWNSHIP - Police are investigating an incident where someone damaged a window at the Warren Overhead Door company by shooting it in an unknown manor.

WARREN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Josue R. Melendez, 36, of Daven Port, Fla., was charged with theft, theft of leased property and unauthorized use of an automobile Wednesday after he allegedly failed to return a rental vehicle to Enterprise Rentals at the Buffalo Airport on March 28. The vehicle was found in the Montreal area on April 15 and returned to the company.

Jeremy J. Steves, 28, of Warren, Pa., was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, marking terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child at about 3 a.m. Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted his wife in front of their two children.
