Alma J. Meacham, 75, of 131 Barrows St., passed away at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday (March 19, 2009) at her residence.

She was born Nov. 21, 1933, in East Randolph, N.Y., the daughter of George and Caroline Rhodes Keith.

Surviving are two daughters: Debra Richards (Eugene), with whom she made her home, and Caroline Meacham (Jeff) of Jamestown, N.Y.; two sons: Fred Meacham (Robin) of Celoron and Don Meacham (Cindy) of East Randolph; eight grandchildren: Rebecca Rowland, Shannon Meacham, Ashley Richards, Michael Lesak, Christy Meacham, Jennifer Meacham, Brittany Meacham and Angela Willsie; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ila Meacham of Jamestown; and three brothers: George Keith of Salamanca, Don Keith of Falconer, and Clifford Keith of Blockville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Farland, Richard and David Keith; and three sisters: Bonnie Serno, Betty Meacham and Wilma Reed.

A time of remembrance will be held on April 5, 2009, at the Vietnam Veterans Association Post 865, 41 Bigelow Ave., from 1 to 5 p.m.
