JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Reanne Mistretta, 18, of Greenhurst was charged with aggravated DWI Friday, following a traffic stop. Police say that around 1:31 a.m., Mistretta was pulled over on Foote Avenue near Jamestown High School for an unspecified traffic infraction when she was allegedly found to be intoxicated. Police say a chemical test revealed her blood-alcohol content was three times the legal limit. She was processed and released on bail to appear in court later.
Ren L. Barnes, 21, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, making an improper right turn and improper signal Friday, following a traffic stop. Police say he was driving a truck west on East Second Street when he turned left and the officer allegedly saw an unspecified equipment violation. Barnes allegedly made a wide-right turn onto Crescent Street and was pulled over. He was allegedly intoxicated and taken into custody. He was processed and released on bail to appear in court later.
CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
Tammy L. Beaujean, 44, of Dewittville was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and fraudulently obtaining public assistance Wednesday, following a joint investigation by the sheriff's department and the Department of Social Services Welfare Fraud Unit. Investigators say she submitted incorrect childcare time sheets for payment, leading to her receiving $2,494 in benefits to which she was not entitled. She will appear in Dunkirk City Court later.
Jeremy Lampman, 38, of Ashville will be removed from the county's most wanted list because he has taken care of an outstanding issue in family court, deputies say.
NEW YORK STATE POLICE
POLAND - Robert J. Manning, 27, of Kennedy was charged with DWI Friday, following a traffic stop on Route 394 around 3:28 a.m. He was processed and released to appear in court later.
PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE AT WARREN
RUSSELL - Troopers are investigating a suspect who reportedly wrote two bad checks to the Russell Veterinary Clinic. They say charges are pending while the investigation continues.
SUGAR GROVE - Pennsylvania State Police reported that around 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Kelvin Richards legally parked his vehicle in front of the Town & Country store. When Richards returned to his 2002 Subaru Sedan, he discovered damage to the driver's door area from an unknown vehicle, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact troopers at 814-728-3600.
SUGAR GROVE - Dudley E. Morningstar, 23, of Sugar Grove was charged with violation of parole Monday, according to the Warren County Adult Probation Department. He was originally placed on parole for charges of tampering and fabricating physical evidence, and was committed to the Warren County Jail, pending further court action.
SUGAR GROVE - Troopers reported that around 2:45 p.m. on Feb. 4, a crash occurred as Jedidiah Badgley, 22, of Ashville was traveling west on Busti Road when he proceeded off the north side of the roadway and struck a snow embankment, as well as a set of mail and newspaper boxes. According to police, Badgley fled the scene in his vehicle in a westbound direction. Police said the Chevrolet Blazer was found unattended in the parking lot of Kwik Fill and towed by Rarey's, at the request of police. Badgley was uninjured but his passenger, a 17-year-old male, sustained minor injuries, police said.
PLEASANT TOWNSHIP - Troopers are reporting that someone stole credit card information from a 19-year-old Irvine, Pa., man and used it to purchase various things between Jan. 15 and Feb. 10. Anyone with information is asked to contact troopers at 814-728-3600.
