JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christopher D. Castellano, 23, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, inadequate brakes and inadequate exhaust Tuesday. Police say around 10:37 p.m., a Stop DWI unit pulled over a 1992 Chevy Blazer stopped at a red light with only one working brake light and a loud exhaust system. Further investigation allegedly revealed that the driver was intoxicated. He was processed and released to appear in court later.

Luis M. Rosa, 44, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, failure to maintain lane and inadequate exhaust Wednesday morning. Police say around 1:45 a.m., a Stop DWI unit pulled over a 1992 Ford Probe on North Main Street after it allegedly crossed between lanes without signaling and crossed the center line. Further investigation allegedly revealed that the driver was intoxicated. He was processed and released to appear in court later.

Daniel G. Saxton, 35, of Jamestown was charged with DWI, driving without headlights and not wearing a seat belt Wednesday morning. Police say around 2:07 a.m., they pulled over a vehicle traveling on West Second Street for driving without the headlights turned on. Further investigation allegedly revealed that Saxton was intoxicated and he was taken into custody where he agreed to take a chemical test. The test allegedly confirmed that his blood-alcohol content was more than the legal limit. He was given an appearance ticket returnable in Jamestown City Court later.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Shelly H. Dunn, 42, of Jamestown was charged with two counts of issuing a bad check Wednesday. She allegedly wrote bad checks to Big Don's Car Wash totaling $147.18. She was given an appearance ticket and will be in Busti Town Court later.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE AT WARREN

CONEWANGO TOWNSHIP - The Tractor Supply Company in Warren, Pa., was cited Monday for allowing five false alarms to occur in a 12-month period. Pennsylvania State Law allows only three false alarms in a 12-month period.

Shannon M. Wolfe, 52, of Warren, Pa., turned himself in after he was charged with aggravated indecent assault of a child, following an investigation into alleged inappropriate contact with two female youths in July 2008. He was arraigned and sent to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

Edward J. Mullville, 45, of Fredonia was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and insufficient tail lights Monday, following a traffic stop on East Main Street. Police say that Mullville was pulled over because his tail lights were flickering on and off and a check of his license revealed that it was suspended. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

Evelyn L. Woodard, 24, of Westfield was charged with second-degree forgery, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny Jan. 29, following an investigation. She allegedly had stolen and forged personal checks in her possession and an arrest warrant was issued. She turned herself in, was arraigned and released to return to court later.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Joseph L. Ortiz, 33, of Salamanca was charged with violating the city's dog-control ordinances Tuesday.

Richard V. Meiners, 54, of Bartlett, Ill., was charged with DWI, refusal to submit to a pre-screen test and failure to keep right Wednesday. Meiners was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

RANDOLPH - Anibal Santiago, 32, of East Randolph, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt Tuesday after deputies served a removal from residence order against him issued by Cattaraugus County Family Court. He was taken into custody, arraigned and released to return to Family Court later.

COLDSPRING - Dakota J. Lytel, of Coldspring was charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, having a forged inspection ticket, driving an uninsured vehicle, driving an unregistered vehicle and improper license plates Monday. He was pulled over for having a forged inspection sticker and further investigation led to the the other charges. He was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

NEW YORK STATE POLICE

FRENCH CREEK - Frederick J. Wegemer, 50, of Erie, Pa., was charged with DWI and unsafe passing on the left Jan. 31, following a traffic stop on Old Road around 5:22 p.m. He was given an appearance ticket and released to appear in court later.

ELLICOTT - Jerome M. Hayes, 22, of Bradford, Pa., was charged with DWI on Sunday, following a traffic stop around 6 a.m. on Route 60. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in Ellicott Town Court.

ELLICOTT - Jerrie L. Lockett, 46, of Dunkirk was charged with felony DWI and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Sunday, following a traffic stop on Route 60. The charge is a felony because Lockett has had two previous DWI convictions in the past 10 years. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

POLAND - Adam G. Edson, 18, of Sinclairville was charged with three counts of second-degree aggravated harassment and unlawful possession of alcohol Monday, following a suspicious person report from a North Main Street residence around 4:15 a.m. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

William S. Malone, 31, of Jamestown was charged with first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and third-degree insurance fraud Monday. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in court later.

Larry L. Hicks, 29, of Jamestown was charged with DWI and several vehicle infractions following a traffic stop on East 6th St. in Jamestown. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

ELLICOTT - Ralph A. Johnson, 43, of Ellery was charged with felony DWI and failure to keep right Tuesday, following a traffic stop on Route 60 around 11:43 p.m. He was processed and released with an appearance ticket returnable in Ellicott Town Court.

ELLICOTT - Robert L. Norris, 35, of South Dayton was charged with second-degree harassment and petit larceny Tuesday. He was processed and released to a third party and will be in court later.
