NEW YORK STATE POLICE AT JAMESTOWN

Brandon J. Darcy, 25, of Conewango Valley was charged with second-degree rape, second-degree criminal sex act, endangering the welfare of a child and violation of parole Monday following an investigation. Troopers say an investigation revealed Darcy allegedly had sexual relations with a female who was less than 15 years old. Since he was released from prison in 2008 and on parole, the incident violated the terms agreed upon when he was released. He was arraigned and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail.

JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Hurburt Sanders, 45, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree harassment and taken into custody Tuesday, after a victim went to the Jamestown Police station to file a complaint. The victim said Sanders made threatening phone calls to her, and filed a report with police. As the victim was leaving the station, Sanders was allegedly across the street yelling at her. He was brought inside the station, processed and sent to the city jail awaiting arraignment.

LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT

Garson E. Butcher, 16, of Lakewood was taken into custody Monday after an arrest warrant was issued in late December. Police say on Dec. 21, he admitted to stealing items from Hot Topic at the Chautauqua Mall after he was found with the goods on Ohio Avenue in Lakewood. He will appear in Busti Town Court later.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE AT WARREN

FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP - A 13-year-old girl was charged with theft after she allegedly stole a cell phone and used if for several days, sending numerous text and picture messages. The fees were in excess of $150, police say, and further action is pending in Juvenile Court.

DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP - Paul A. Hendricks, 48, of Pittsburgh Pa., was charged with violating a protection from abuse order for allegedly going to a Warren, Pa., woman's home. He was taken into custody, arraigned and sent to the Warren County Jail in lieu of $25,000.
