Higgins Announces December ‘Congress On Your Corner’ Schedule
U.S. Rep. Brian Higgins, D-South Buffalo, will hold several Chautauqua County Congress On Your Corner meetings throughout the county in December.
''Sometimes it may be difficult for our constituents to come to our office, so my staff will travel to neighborhoods across the 27th district to take our services directly to the people,'' Higgins said.
Constituents have the opportunity to talk directly with someone from Congressman Higgins' office about issues related to Social Security, the Veteran's Administration, citizenship and immigration, or any other matters.
The December ''Congress on Your Corner'' schedule will be as follows:
Tuesday: 11:30 a.m. to noon, Hotel Jamestown, Third Street, basement.
Friday, Dec. 12: 11:30 a.m. to noon, Office of Aging Facility, 32 Moore Ave., Fredonia; 1 to 3 p.m., Fredonia Village Hall, second floor trustees room.
Wednesday, Dec. 17: 9 to 11 a.m., Lakewood Village Hall, 20 W. Summit St.; 1 to 3 p.m., Findley Lake, 2883 North Road.
Friday, Dec. 19: 9 to 11 a.m., Village of Westfield, Eason Hall, 23 Elm St., North Room; 11:30 a.m. to noon, Portage Hill Apartments, 40 Evans St., Mayville; 1 to 3 p.m., Mayville village offices, Sidney Compton Meeting Room.
Residents can also continue to reach Higgins' permanent office in Chautauqua County from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 2 E. Second St., Jamestown. For more information, call 484-0729.
