Reg Set To Screen ‘E.T.’
The Reg Lenna Civic Center will screen a pre-Halloween showing of ''E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial'' at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Following the success of the matinee presentation of ''The Wizard of Oz'' last spring, this showing of ''E.T.'' gives children and families the chance to enjoy movies together in the environment of the Civic Center.
"We at the Reg want to recreate that old-time movie house environment for kids and families today," David Schein, executive director, said. "We'll have live entertainment, a Halloween costume contest with prizes, low prices for candy and popcorn and then one of the finest family movies of all time: "E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial."
Rated PG, it was originally released in August 1982.
Doors will open at 1 p.m. Concessions will be available and the pre-show entertainment and contest will start at 1:30 p.m.
Admission prices are $3 for children, $5 for adults and a Family Pass is available for $15 which will allow entrance for up to two adults and three children.
