JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Frank R. Salapek, 54, of Jamestown, was charged with felony driving while intoxicated and felony first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation Wednesday. Police say around 7 p.m., they received a call from a citizen who said he had just helped Salapek after he dropped his motorcycle. The citizen reportedly said he was following Salapek and he may be intoxicated. Police pulled Salapek over and he was allegedly intoxicated and driving with a suspended license due to a previous DWI conviction. He was taken to the city jail and held awaiting arraignment.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

KIANTONE - Nathan B. Muro, 19, of Falconer, was charged with running a red light Wednesday after a motor vehicle accident in Kiantone. Deputies say he was traveling east on Peck Settlement Road and ran the red light at the Route 60 intersection. Muro's vehicle was struck by a northbound vehicle on Route 60, but no injuries were reported. Muro was given an appearance ticket and will be in Kiantone Court later.

RIPLEY - Toni L. Long, 18, of Ripley, was charged with third-degree assault Wednesday. Deputies say around 9 p.m., a female victim was walking down South State Street in Ripley when she was allegedly followed by Long. Long allegedly yelled obscenities at the victim then attacked her from behind. Deputies say the victim tried to stand at one point but Long allegedly kicked her in the side. When the victim was finally able to get away, she reportedly ran for help. Deputies say the victim had bruises and a small abrasion on her body and Long admitted to hitting and pushing her. Long was given an appearance ticket and will be in Ripley Court later.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Ricky Morton, 24, of Little Valley, was charged with four counts of petit larceny Wednesday. Police say the charges stem from incidents which took place at Antone's 1 on Central Avenue from Sept. 5 to Sept. 14. He was given an appearance ticket and will be in Salamanca City Court later.

Raymond Rartlett, 41, of Salamanca, was charged with DWI and failure to keep right after a traffic stop Tuesday. He was processed and released to a third party to appear in court later.

Michael Kuligowski, 48, of Ransomville, N.Y., was charged with aggravated felony DWI, failure to stop at a stop sign and reckless driving Tuesday. He was taken into custody and held awaiting arraignment.

Cheyenne Armstrong, 27, of Salamanca, was charged with DWI and failure to stop at a stop sign Wednesday. Armstrong was processed and released to a third party to appear in court later.

PENNSYLVANIA STATE POLICE AT WARREN

WARREN - A 17-year-old female from North Warren was charged with harassment Wednesday after allegedly punching a 37-year-old woman in the face inside the Wal-Mart store around 4:45 p.m. She will be in court later.

SUGAR GROVE - John Edward Williams, 53, of Sugar Grove was charged with harassment Tuesday after an argument with an 82-year-old family member escalated and Williams allegedly threw a cup of coffee on him. Williams will be in court later.

WARREN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Christopher Rockwell, 20, of Warren, was charged with underage drinking Wednesday after police were dispatched to his residence for a loud noise complaint. He will be in Warren City Court later.

Axel L. Johnson Jr., 19, of Warren, was charged with theft of services after he allegedly put three truckloads of garbage into a dumpster on Main Street without permission. He will be in court later.
