JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
A 17-year old female was charged with resisting arrest Thursday. Police say an officer went to 16 Valley St. to serve an arrest warrant on the suspect when she allegedly fled the scene. After a foot pursuit, the female was taken into custody and transported to city jail.
Nicole Parsons, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct Friday. Police say an officer went to 112 Hall Ave. to act as a peace officer during a property dispute. Upon arrival, Parsons allegedly caused a public annoyance by swearing loudly at the officer. Parsons was placed under arrest and transported to city jail.
Orlando G. Santiago, 45, of Jamestown, was charged with domestic violence Saturday. Policy say officers were sent to 147 Falconer St. after a 911 call was received from a child reporting a fight at the residence. When officers arrived, it was allegedly discovered that Santiago broke the phone cord after the call to prevent further calls to the police. Officers allegedly found that Santiago had grabbed the child by the throat and attempted to punch the child several times. Officers arrested Santiago and transported him to city jail.
Lester D. Rowland, 21, of Jamestown, was charged with larceny Saturday. Rowland was allegedly caught stealing form the Rite Aid on South Main Street by store security. Officers arrested Rowland and transported him to city jail.
Shannon I. Wright, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with disorderly conduct on Friday. Policy say Wright was allegedly observed walking into traffic in the area of Sixth and Washington streets against the signal causing traffic to stop to avoid hitting her. Wright was issued an appearance ticket.
Eyugene J. Fields, 22, of Jamestown, was charged with harassment on Sunday. Police say officers responded to a pharmacy in Brooklyn Square after a female employee reported that a male was following her around the store and touched her inappropriately. Fields was asked to leave the pharmacy, but allegedly refused. Officers arrived and arrested Fields for two counts of harassment and trespassing and transported him to city jail.
Travis C. Kotch, 30, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday. Police say they observed a vehicle make an abrupt turn into a parking lot without signaling around the 500 block of Second Street. When the officer approached the vehicle, Kotch was allegedly found vomiting in the parking lot from the open driver-side door. Kotch was allegedly found to be intoxicated and operating with a suspended driver's license. Kotch was placed under arrest and transported to city jail where he was processed and released.
John E. Holland, 45, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated and felony aggravated unlicensed operation Monday. Police say Holland was operating a Toyota with a loud exhaust while pulling into the South Main Street Rite Aid. Holland was approached and a subsequent investigation led to his arrest for driving while intoxicated. Holland's operating privilege was revoked from a previous driving while intoxicated in 1991, which led to the other charge.
Susan E. Dietz, 39, of Jamestown was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, disorderly conduct and stabbing on Monday. Police say officers were sent to 206 Barrett Ave. for a reported disturbance. Upon arrival, officers allegedly found a highly intoxicated Dietz lying on the ground outside her residence. As officers attempted to resolve the situation, Dietz allegedly began to swear toward a juvenile at the residence. Officers charged her and transported the juvenile to a home of a relative. During a separate incident later that morning, Dietz was also charged with stabbing her boyfriend. When Dietz arrived home, she allegedly armed herself with a large kitchen knife and stabbed the 23-year old male in the lower right leg. The victim went to WCA Hospital, where he was treated and released.
ELLICOTT TOWN POLICE
Susan E. Dietz, 39, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated, failing to keep right, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, driving uninsured and driving while intoxicated per se on Saturday. Police say Dietz was stopped on Fluvanna Avenue for failing to keep within her driving lane. She was allegedly found to have a suspended license and no insurance. She was also alleged to be intoxicated. She was arrested and later released. She is scheduled to appear later in Ellicott Town Court.
