Grace Arcadipane Ingrao, a resident of Heritage Village, Gerry, celebrated her 103rd birthday on Aug. 19. She was born in San Cataldo, Sicily, in 1905 and came to the United States in 1909. In 1923, she married Salvatore ''Sam'' Ingrao and lived at 608 Barrows for more than 70 years.
She has one daughter, Patty Searsone, and one son, Nick Ingrao. She also has 14 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great grandchildren. A son, Angelo Ingrao, is deceased.
Mrs. Ingrao enjoys visiting with friends, playing bingo and crocheting. She has made nearly 200 hats for the Children's Hospital.
