Lillian M. Latona, 94, of Frewsburg Rest Home, form-erly of 1076 East Second St., went home to be with the Lord, July 19, 2008, sur-rounded by her family.
She was the widow of her first husband, Samuel L. Vil-lardo, whom she married July 11, 1936 who died Feb. 25, 1943.
A lifelong area resident, she was born Nov. 17, 1913, in Westfield, the son of Joseph and Rose Logan La-Placa.
In earlier years, along with her first husband Samu-el they had owned and operated a dairy and grape farm in Westfield. She was also employed by National Worsted Mills and in later years owned L & L's Beauty Shop for 15 years retiring in 1978. She attended Clarks Corners Community Church.
Lillian loved cooking especially Italian cookies, playing bingo and being surrounded by her family.
Surviving is a son, Robert Villardo and his loving com-panion, Linda Kramer both of Jamestown; two stepsons: David and Lloyd Latona, both of Jamestown; two stepdaughters: Prescilla Conti of Jamestown and Doris Waite of Busti; two grandchildren: Jody (Mike) Johnston of Brocton and Kelly (Jeffrey) Ward of Tex-as; and six great-grandchil-dren: Jordin and Haley Er-ickson, Courtney, Thomas, Laura and Heather Johnston.
She was preceded in death by her second husband, John Latona; a daughter, Sharlene Latona; and several brothers and sisters.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Falconer Funeral Home. Rev. Lee O'Brien, will offi-ciate.
Friends will be received by the family from10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday in the fun-eral home.
