JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT

Aaron T. Monroe, 19, and Charles H. Monroe were both charged with third-degree criminal mischief Tuesday after officers responded to a landlord complaint at 165 Barrett Ave. The Monroes allegedly punched holes in the walls, ripped down a banister, tore down the exterior lights of the house and broke the porch railing off. They were taken into custody without incident and will appear later in city court.

Anthony Orazio, 19, of Jamestown was charged with public consumption of alcohol Tuesday after officers say they saw him walking on Windsor Street with an open can of beer. He was taken into custody and will appear in city court later.

Ralph R. Pratt IV, 22, of Jamestown was charged with driving while intoxicated Tuesday after officers say they stopped him for speeding and determined he was intoxicated. He was taken into custody and will appear in city court later.

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

RIPLEY - Konstantin P. Lauris, 27, of Erie, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated and being a fugitive from justice Friday after deputies investigated what appeared to be a suspicious vehicle stopped on Route 5 in Ripley. Deputies allege that when investigating the occupant's activities, they determined that Lauris was intoxicated and a further check revealed that he was wanted by Erie Police for felony charges. Lauris was taken into custody and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail pending extradition to Erie.

CHAUTAUQUA - Courtney C. Reeve, 19, of 5757 Aiken Road, Mayville, was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident Tuesday. Deputies allege that Reeve was charged after a report was made that she drove through a pedestrian walk gate and caused damage to the gate, flower boxes and her vehicle. When Reeve was stopped a short distance from the scene of the accident, deputies say she failed a breath test. She was released and will appear in Chautauqua Town Court later.

KENNEDY - Jason Parsons, 32, of 3898 Dailey Hill Road, Kennedy, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of property damage accident, failure to keep right, and failure to submit to a pre screen breath test Wednesday. According to deputies, Parsons hit a parked car on Dailey Hill Road and fled the scene. He will be in Poland Town Court later.

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

YORKSHIRE - Joel D. Rung, 19, of Delevan was driving north on County Line Road on Monday when he lost control of his vehicle, went off the roadway and struck a tree. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center by Mercy Flight with unknown injuries. No charges have been filed and the accident is still under investigation.

SALAMANCA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Dean French Jr., 27, of Hornell was taken into custody on July 11 based on an issued arrest warrant for petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy for an incident which allegedly happened in March. French was remanded to Steuben County Jail and will appear in city court later.

Luis Castellano, 28, of Salamanca was charged with second-degree assault. Police say the charges stem from a July 10 incident. Castellano was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Jarrett Cooper, 31, of Salamanca was charged with resisting arrest July 11, following an incident which police say took place on Main Street in the city. He was taken into custody and is awaiting arraignment.

Clint Course, 22, of Salamanca was charged with disorderly conduct July 12, following an incident that police allege took place at the Red Garter. Crouse was taken into custody pending arraignment.

Lance R. Opferbeck, 37, of 88 Clinton St., Salamanca, was taken into custody on a bench warrant for failure to pay a fine. He was taken to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of $250 bail.

Candice L. Cooper, 40, of 23 Fawn Ave., Salamanca, was charged with third-degree assault Monday. She was taken into custody, issued an appearance ticket, and released. She will appear in city court later.

Lori Wagner, 19, of Salamanca was charged with issuing bad checks Tuesday, as police say she wrote seven of them. She was taken into custody, issued an appearance ticket and released. She will appear in city court later.

Jordan Reiller, 21, of Salamanca was taken into custody on two bench warrants Tuesday. She was processed and held for arraignment.

Daniel Pierce, 23, of Olean was taken into custody Tuesday with the help of the Olean Police Department on a bench warrant for failing to pay a fine in the City of Salamanca. He is being held awaiting arraignment in city court.

Clint Fabian Sherk, 22, of Bradford, Pa., was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding, and second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation. He was taken into custody and is being held awaiting arraignment.

WESTFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT

WESTFIELD-Jack Dean, 86, of 4579 Chautauqua-Steadman Road, was charged with reckless driving and failure to obey a traffic-control device Tuesday. Police say they were called to Hardscrabble Road by the town of Westfield highway supervisor who alleged Dean drove through barricades which were placed because the road was going to be paved. Dean then allegedly drove over freshly laid pavement, almost struck two highway workers, and when he went to drive around the paver, took out a mailbox causing damage to his vehicle. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Westfield Court later.
