For the fifth year in a row, downtown Jamestown will be roaring with action this weekend as motorcycles fill the streets.
No, the Hells Angels aren't setting up shop, it's the Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation's Thunder in the Streets motorcycle rally.
''This weekend is looking very good. We have a great lineup of live entertainment and the stunt team is already getting great reviews,'' said Tiffani Reynolds, DJDC special projects manager. ''Families of all ages take to the streets during the rally.''

Local band Smackdab will headline Thunder in the Streets when they take the stage on Saturday July 12 from 8-11 p.m.
Although the event is geared toward motorcycle enthusiasts, it does offer enough diversity through the music and live shows that any casual observer should be well entertained. This year's musical lineup includes performances by the Smackdab, Willow Creek, 3 Legged Dog, Shotgun Suite and others.
In addition to the live music, a variety of food, motorcycle and novelty vendors will be scattered throughout downtown, with the event headquarters as well as the beverage garden located at the Jamestown Savings Bank Ice Arena. Souvenir T-shirts, patches and pins will also be available for purchase at Thunder in the Streets headquarters.
One of the biggest attractions of the event is the Pennsylvania-based extreme motorcycle stunt team, the PsychoBuells, who will take over Third Street and headline the event.

The stunt team performs on 400-pound, more than 100-horsepower Buell Firebolts provided by White's Harley Davidson Buell, in Lebanon, Pa.
''The PsychoBuells will bring a dazzling show of fun, flash, skills and thrills each and every time they ride. These guys work hard every show to give the crowd what they want and have been successfully delivering for five years,'' Ms. Reynolds said. ''This amazing stunt team is comprised of three of the finest riders in Central Pennsylvania, and performed for the first time in Jamestown in 2006. When the PsychoBuells are not performing shows, you can find them competing professionally in national stunt events. This team has been featured in over 10 nationally released films and magazines for their crazy motorcycle antics.''
The DJDC, which serves as event organizer and sponsor, invites all riders to participate in the 2008 Scenic Dice Run that will travel through Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties. The annual run is brought to Jamestown by the Southern Tier Riders Motorcycle Club from Kennedy. There is a $10 donation to enter and prizes will be awarded at the end of the run.
