A Jamestown area resident since 1971, he was born March 4, 1961 in Brooks Memorial Hospital, Dunkirk, N.Y., a son of Beverly A. Drummond Ferrugia and the late David Ferrugia.
Tom was a 1979 graduate of Jamestown High School, where he was a member of the swim team and the cross country team.
He had been employed at the Shorewood Country Club in Dunkirk, the Puzzle Lounge, Ponderosa Restau-rant, Pizza Hut, and most re-cently at Quality Markets on Foote Ave.
Thomas will be sadly missed by all his friends and most of all by his loving family.
Surviving are his mother of Jamestown; two brothers: David (Kelly) Ferrugia of Jamestown, and Michael (Lisa) Ferrugia of Waxhaw, N.C.; a sister, Joelle Ferrugia of Jamestown; and two nieces: Anna and Isabelle Ferrugia.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Timothy A. Fer-rugia.
A celebration of Thomas’s life will be celebrated at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
