Cole Running For Frewsburg School Board

FREWSBURG — Jacqueline Cole is running for the Frewsburg Central School District Board of Education.

Mrs. Cole has a daughter in eighth grade who enjoys being in musicals, camera club and writing for the Bear Facts newsletter.

‘‘I believe that with the continuing trend of increasing taxes and unstable economy, we as a community need to find ways to cut cost without hurting education,’’ Mrs. Cole said. ‘‘With that in mind the best way to change this trend is to change who is making the decisions.’’

Mrs. Cole is the secretary for Frewsburg’s Sunnybrook Rebekah Lodge and has been employed at Bush Industries for the past 20 years. While at Bush Industries, she has been trained as a machine operator and team leader and has had several classes in problem solving.

‘‘While talking to members of the community and my own personal observations we have noticed certain areas where cost could be cut without hurting education,’’ Mrs. Cole said. ‘‘I realize that it will take the whole community to change this trend and I would like to be the peoples voice for change so that the families can continue to live in Frewsburg and have their kids graduate from the great school of Frewsburg Central.’’
