Relay Nails Down Falconer Win

FALCONER — Falconer (3-1, 5-2) slipped past Fredonia (2-2), 73-68, in a tight Division 1 track meet on Thursday.

The meet was tied at 68 heading into the final event, the1,600 relay, and Falconer came through and won with a time of 3:39.1.

Matt Adams was a double winner for the Golden Falcons with victories in the 110 hurdles (15.8) and the 100 (11.4) while Mitch Schrecongost finished first in the 400 hurdles (58.2) and the 200 (23.6).

John Conti was a double winner for Fredonia with first-place finishes in the long jump (18-6) and the triple jump (40-6) while Matt Metzger earned wins in the 800 (2:10.0) and the 3,200 (10:25.9).

DUNKIRK— Dunkirk defeated Southwestern (1-3, 6-3), 84-57.

Burrows, Stallworth and Rexach were all double winners for Dunkirk.

Nate Stancombe was a double winner for Southwestern with wins in the shot put (44-9) and the discus (128-1¢).
