NEW YORK (AP) — Three people are facing murder charges in the slayings of a mother and daughter found dead in their Bronx apartment.

Police in New York say Andrew Scott was arrested Saturday and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

Scott was in custody Saturday and unable to comment. Attorney information was not immediately available.

Police say a 26-year-old man and 23-year-old women were also charged with murder, robbery and criminal possession of a weapon in the deaths.

Police say 55-year-old Ida Randolph and her 21-year-old daughter Jena Randolph were discovered Oct. 3 inside the Bronx apartment with trauma to their bodies.

They say the mother's hands were bound and the daughter was found naked.
