As a former opioid user/addict I can speak as one relatively informed about the subject. I also speak very candidly and quite frankly about my former addiction not only to the general acquaintance/public in an effort to educate them to the problem but however also to the current addict/abuser who may be in a rehab or detox environment as they attempt to effect a positive change in their life. This is a civic/community problem whose implications are broad and far reaching, often into the very heart of our own families. The individual or network of sellers who are propagating this problem by making the drug available at the street level should be dealt with and severely reprimanded as well as the physician who indiscriminately prescribes narcotic based pain relievers unconsciously helping to create this problem. "Hat's off" to our law enforcement officials who are eradicating this problem. Keep the arrests coming. Good work guys!!! Your efforts are not in vain!!!
