He is a horrible choice. I'm glad he was blocked. Better a vacancy until the general election than him!

" It is getting harder and harder to find people willing to serve." Add to that these two (husband and wife) have no integrity or they would not have vacated the seat to start with. We don't need this type in office.

Cornell is a joke and so is his wife. Typical people feeding out of the public trough. Norm Green calling this politics is unbelievable with the crap that guy has pulled in board of elections. He should be in jail.

I agree Pedrov. In 5 months the people will decide in the general election. Chuck and Lori will be fine. Chuck has a job at SUNY Fredonia and Lori was appointed to the Governor's regional office. Maybe Chuck Cornell was the only one to step forward to offer to serve his party in that district. It is getting harder and harder to find people willing to serve.

This is the right move for not seating a former legislator who vacated his elected seat to run for the County Exec. position. Not only was he badly beaten but his wife was selected and ran for an took by election his seat. Then she by choice vacated her elected legislative seat to run for County Clerk and again be soundly beaten. Enough of the Cornell's. Commite pick another candidate and not another Cornell.

So, wannabe "King Chuck" Calls out two Democrat Legislators last fall and expects them to support him? I guess he's not as good of a politician as he needs to be if he's messing with his own party.

These people are so used to manipulating things to get what they want. We need new blood in the legislature.
