if Cecil Miller made the Ellicott Hwy department clean out the ditches we wouldny have to hook pumps up to the sewer system. Worst town Govt ever!

Sort of "a day late and dollar short" on that illegal sump pump hookup thing aren't they? But I'm certain that somebody arrogant/obstinate enough to construct an illegal hookup in the 1st place is now going to disconnect it at the exact moment when he needs it the most?! :-) Don't hold your breath. Let's see, the almost certain loss of his furnace and basement appliances vs. a massive discharge of raw sewage into the lake. What do you think someone like that values the most? NOBODY wants to be the bad guy and enforce the law which prohibits these illegal hookups, but the need for such enforcement becomes clear at times like this doesn't it? "Pay me now, or pay a whole lot more later."
