The letter writer stated that the meeting was not "openly advertised" by the group that organized it, and that this was explained at the door to those who were not invited. So why are they still crying about it? Sounds like a non-issue to me.

We just drove through the state of Pennsylvania,mostly on back roads and if Fracking has been a tremendous boom to the economy it sure doesn't show. The poverty level,number of abandoned buildings, ghost towns, broken down houses far exceeds anything in NY State. The oil companies and a few people must be happy but that's about all. It's very sad. It did make me feel better about New York though, even with its blood sucking taxes. Fracking is not the magic bullet for the masses.
