Horace: "...My point is, there are far bigger fish to fry than a witch hunt for marijuana in our local schools." (Like a swat team searching the premises for a Bible!)

The author of this letter is the perfect example of a colossal jewel of ignorance. People who think like him ARE what is wrong with our society.

Post Journal hits a new low, which is getting pretty low these days. I also know several people whose well-written letters on cultural issues have not been printed, yet they will print absolute nonsense like this. Research done at Harvard and Northwestern, reported in Journal of Neuroscience, reveals the facts on marijuana. I think these facts were apparent 30 years ago to people with any powers of observation and integrity.

There is so much wrong with this letter that I don't know what to gripe about. I'll stick to one complaint. Children NEED to understand the concept of consequence. If they do good things, good consequences come. If they choose illegal things, bad stuff like being searched and punished by school and police happens. Libs want to take away any bad consequences for things they deem they want to do.

Pot won't be legal to have in school in five years. To suggest otherwise would be ignorant and irresponsible. Oh, and dumb.

Wrong again CrookedLiar, Get the lexicons out! 22 Moreover the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

23 Take thou also unto thee principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,

Since the "miscreants" weren't named how was this irresponsible? And when pot is legalized I doubt it will be legally sold to 10 year olds. Alcohol is a legal drug but I'd sure want to know if my middle school child was bringing it to school! No tolerance means NO tolerance. Where do you draw the line? Pot? Alcohol? ******? Needles? Parents and the public need to be aware there are problems with drugs in all schools so they can be aware, talk to kids and hopefully help them make it through life while making wise choices.

From the time of Moses until that of the later prophet Samuel, the holy anointing oil was used by the shamanic Levite priesthood to receive the "revelations of the Lord". At the dawn of the age of Kings, Samuel extended the use of the anointing oil to the Hebraic monarchs by anointing Saul (and later David) as "Messiah-king". These kings lead their people with the benefit of insights achieved through using the holy anointing oil to become "possessed with the spirit of the Lord."

"Anointing was common among kings of Israel. It was the sign and symbol of royalty. The word 'Messiah' signifies the 'Anointed One', and none of the kings of Israel were styled the Messiah unless anointed."1 The title was clearly only given to those "having the crown of God's unction upon them" (Leviticus 21:12).

Credence - You Get Baptised Yet - The ancient recipe for this anointing oil, recorded in the Old Testament book of Exodus (30: 22-23) included over nine pounds of flowering cannabis tops, Hebrew "kaneh-bosm" B, extracted into a hind (about 6.5 litres) of olive oil, along with a variety of other herbs and spices. The ancient chosen ones were literally drenched in this potent cannabis holy oil.

Mind altering, illegal substances found in a middle school is not a problem? This author must have been stoned when this piece was written.
