April 24, 2014

To the Readers’ Forum: With all 435 seats of the House and 33 seats in the Senate up for grabs this November, it would seem imperative that every concerned citizen (who is qualified) should get out......

former ... you don't actually think the BHO will leave w/o a Big Big fight do you? There will be heel skid marks down every whitehouse hallway on the forced exit. My prediction is marshall law. They don't want to move neither give up 50 million in annual perks

Why waste time in voting? Your county uses voting registrations to select jury pools - many of those don't do you expect them to go to Mayville? Duh. We won't vote either, none of the right people ever run and we're stuck with idiots, like Romney and Obama. It would be nice to see a debate between other candidates other than Redummies and Dummycrats

Please vote! Even if things don't go the way I want them to, I will feel a lot better if it's decided by a majority of all eligible voters, instead of a majority of the relatively small percentage of who vote.

Crookedliar, It's not up to you to vote as you have suggested. You are completely ignorant of so many things. The church has been (and remains to a certain extent) integrated in our great nation. THAT IS WHY IT IS GREAT. We haven't yet resigned the constitution of America to the whims and rule of pipsqueaks like you.

While I agree with the sentiment that people should get informed before voting, I do have to take issue with one thing. The statement that “the current administration has imposed over 440 new taxes” is bull. This supposed bit of "fact" is taken from an already debunked claim by Grover Norquist and has no basis in reality. It seems the good reverend should take his own advice and get informed.

1st Thing i would vote for is to keep church and state separate, and it would be nice if the churchs and the million dollar tax loopholes like the River Walk Retreat in Bemus Point started paying their fare share
