Anyone who thinks the Holy Bible is not literal historical truth should go back to where they came from! American is a Christian country!!!!!!!!!

I really don't understand why anyone expects anything except entertainment out of a movie. If you want to understand the Bible, go to church; if you want to understand physics, go to college; however, you're not going to really learn about either from Noah or the Transformers!

The producers of the film said that their production reflected the integrity and values of the account. Far from it, they butchered it. I wonder if the same producers will do a film on Mohammed and do the same kind of revisionism that they did on Noah. Besides, when such a poor representation was given of the true account, don't you think that those of us who have respect for the historicity of the Scripture should and ought to say something?

What fools Christians are. These people who control your government, the education of your children, and your medical care system besides your entertainment media have just tipped their hand openly that they don't care if you are dead right or dead wrong, they just want you and all of us dead. And all you care about is silly squabbles about religious doctrine.

Too funny , the same blind followers of "Fox" news are complaining about Hollywood. A rational person can tell the difference between fiction and non-fiction.

Judgement comes in two ways. You must judge things for your own good sometimes. Deciding what to buy to wear, eat, see, read, etc. is a judgement of itself. Who you choose as a spouse, and where you choose to spend down time are judgements as well. The judgement we are to keep clear of is judging people's worthiness of God's love and forgiveness. Can someone who doesn't know who Jesus is or what he taught be held to the same standards as someone who studies the Bible for a living? No. We don't know people's hearts and their motivations. How good or bad someone is decided by God, not me. At least that's how I've understood it. You are welcome to disagree if you would like but this is how I see it and it doesn't seem wrong to me.

The important issue here is not that Hollywood isn't promoting Christianity. It is that Hollywood is revealing that liberals want to exterminate the human species. They are psychopaths and we should remember that when we vote and whenever they open their mouths.

Capri73 my comment was not about religion it was about movie making. Pastors of the word of the Bible have a job to do and that is to spread God's word. Do you think everyone should just shut up when they disagree with how their religious beliefs are portrayed? Of course you do, but many others want the opinions and understandings of others to complete their own findings. It seems you wish to live in a world of silent approval and puppet string control of everyone that dares to speak up. If you do not wish to hear or be exposed to the writings of ministers then don't read or listen to them. This Reverend always identifies himself so skip his commentary and go on about your own life.

Oldlady, you last statement could not be more true about all religions. " It is all about money and controlling their audience's belief system." Rev. Mel has written a letter trying to control other peoples belief of this movie by telling us what is wrong and incorrect about the story. But every minister has the belief that it is their job to control what their flock believes about the bible. It is a movie, let the viewers watch and take what they want from the movie. If you flock blindly follows you view, then you have nothing to worry about.

These movies, whether they be about biblical or political history, always slant the way the director/producers want them to. If a director/producer wants to stay true to the written facts as much as possible regardless of their own beliefs, they have to be very disciplined about themselves. It would require them to examine their own motives before undertaking such a project. Sadly, Hollywood isn't much into self-examination or discipline. It is all about money and controlling their audience's belief system.

Every work of historical fiction is more about the time it is produced than about the time it depicts. The Hebrews took a story already thousands of years old and radically transformed it to serve their very different more sophisticated monotheistic vision. Hollywood took that version, thousands of years old, and again transformed it radically to its death wish contemporary vision.
