formerly, don't worry. I was not offended and am happy to list my sources, especially with something so specific.

At no time was the Obama administration aware of what the Obama administration was doing.

I think they mostly blamed him with good reason. Afterall, he'd be back if he was allowed. What else does he have to do.

Kinda funny though, one of the last comments he made was the pj was watching me for attacking his family. Guess they felt he must be a big family man and made it so he could spend more time with them. I give them credit for that, but they must knock it off with these letters.

As blog supervisor (unlike past blog supervisors) I feel it is my duty to answer everybody's questions. The answer to your 8:20p comment is "yes."

Also hasn't it been nice to make a comment and not have some self serving censor removing them.

You got that right about the letters being boring. As are most of the editors opinion articles lately.

Ten comments and not one is about the letter at hand. Good thing you know who isn't here to tell us to stay on topic. Right before he goes off topic. How can we stay on topic when the pj is trying to bore us to death.

"To those whom much is given, much is expected." Our founders gave the press a lot. Now toughen up a little pj and stop printing those stupid thank-you letters. Make them buy a card like everyone else. Walmart has them for .99 cents.

The press is supposed to keep an eye on the powerful folks and give a voice to us little people. Sometimes your only option is to send a letter to your local paper and hope your situation is helped by a little "sunlight." One problem with a small town paper like the pj they get too cozy with certain groups and certain people and they are afraid to offend their pals. It has long been rumored they don't like to publish any complaints about bullying or any other problems at local high schools because of their relationship with the schools athletic teams. The coverage on local high school and youth sports drives sales. If that's their policy than they should just say so. If I send in a letter because my child is being bullied at school they wouldn't print it. But if my child jumps off a building, now they're all over it because that will sell papers.

P.S. silver turtle....they do not print what is sent in. They clearly pick and choose.

Can you show me someplace that backs up your comment "PJ is officially the designated Republican newspaper for the county, and the Observer is the Democratic" as I can not seem to find that anyplace at all. Both are owned by Ogden so it does make me wonder who did what you claim.

silver-We went from almost every letter being about the hot topics of the day to a love fest. The letter writers haven't changed that much. And I have written recently. And I'm a great writer, much better than those who have written in lately. I guess I should have thanked the pj for sending me the paper which I paid for.

Let's see, the pj's editorial recieved no comments. This letter got just a few. Good God, pj. You're boring your readers to death. No one cares about these stories. It's like an awards show where someone gets up on stage and thanks everyone they've ever meant. Toughen up a little!

Don't worry about PJ being soft. I'm sure they print what is sent in. Maybe we need to write in more often if we want more controversial topics. Also PJ is officially the designated Republican newspaper for the county, and the Observer is the Democratic. I looked it up and it was stated as such in our county legislature at the beginning of this year.

Is there any inane thing that someone hasn't thanked someone else for lately. Is the PJ now afraid to post the dissenting and controversial letters and editorials. Have they finally sold out to the progressives liberals? What are they afraid of. It is sad that they have become such a soft on everything paper.
